Sports and other private clubs are often conveniently located and have other existing facilities in place.
In addition, many communities face problems with children being abandoned either at home or in cars while their parents spend time inside clubs playing pokey machines.

Is this a smart use of existing resources and a way to help protect vulnerable children or will the combination of childcare within a venue that promotes gambling normalise gambling and potentially encourage more people to spend time in these clubs?
